Future Gazing and Future Shaping
In the face of pending resource and environmental constraints, and the development of new technologies, future business leaders need to recognize that the future will be very different from today. At this event, Christopher Barnatt will signpost the critical sustainability challenges that lie ahead, as well as highlighting developments in 3D printing, synthetic biology, nanotechnology, urban agriculture and artificial intelligence that will help us overcome them. Moving beyond future gazing, Chris will then explore how informed leaders have the opportunity to shape the future by propagating a new, more sustainable narrative as the foundation for tomorrow’s corporation.
Chris has been a professional futurist for over 20 years, and runs ExplainingTheFuture.com, ExplainingComputers.com and their associated YouTube channels. He has published eleven books and numerous articles, with over 200 contributions to broadcast, print and online media around the globe.
