6 December 2016 – what’s the story behind door number six?

Hundreds of people struck a pose at  Nottingham Lakeside Arts in March and April when we were treated to an amazing exhibition of Elisabeth Frink’s work. The Presence of Sculpture captured the imagination of visitors who took to social media to share their selfies with the artwork. One of the most notable pictures was the one of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn who posed with bronze sculpture Walking Madonna.

Who opened the door?

Thank you to Sanjeev Taak, a cryogenic and gashandling trainee technician in the Faculty of Science, for opening up door number six.
