1. Hear first about weekly sessions

Be it a drop-in, skills workshop or information session, you can find details about all Advantage Award events on Twitter. You’ll see the wide variety and if you tend to leave things to the last minute, get reminders weeks before, the day before or on the day.

Forgotten to write down the room of a session? Find it on Twitter. Can’t remember the time? It’s all on the tweet.

These sessions fill up fast, so the sooner you know, the greater chance you have of securing a place.

2. Discover new modules

If you flicked through the module guide at the start of term looking for something that wasn’t there, it might be now. Did you know that sometimes new modules are created during the year? And where do we announce them first? Twitter.

You’ll also get notified about other modules; when they start and if there are spare places available.

3. See your snaps at the Celebration Event

When you complete the Award you will be invited to our Celebration Event to collect your certificate. The event is a great way to celebrate your achievements and connect with employers – we also have a professional photographer there to get some snaps of you and your friends too

4. Connect with employers

Looking to connect with employers online? Join us on Twitter – we can connect you with employers who have a wealth of opportunities. Build your portfolio through us and open up future avenues into the job market.

5. Get your questions answered

Our social media accounts are monitored daily, so why not direct message us with your query? It’s fast and simple. If you think you need to chat in more detail then you can always set up a meeting with a member of the Award team.
