Here’s what last year’s winner, Will Lobo, had to say about his application when he found out he had been shortlisted for the prize….
Why did you apply for this prize?
The reason I applied was to get recognition for things I was doing outside of my degree programme…I applied for this prize in particular as I hope I’ve shown leadership in some of the things I’ve done extra-curricular wise. The leadership prize had some very attractive components in the prize itself, the internship programme would be brilliant as would the iPad 2.
How do you feel about being shortlisted?
I am obviously delighted to be shortlisted especially given what it’s for and being one of four candidates. Just to get shortlisted is great recognition for a university wide prize and I am very proud and pleased.
Please note – To be eligible to apply for this prize you must have achieved at least 300 UCAS points, be averaging a 2:1 in your degree, and accept the Prize Terms and Conditions on Workspace.
Nominations are open now!
