Employability Rocks – Dr Judith Wayte, School of Biosciences
Video>>
Dr Judith Wayte from the School of Biosciences explores the idea of employability as seen through the lens of a practitioner. This talk was given as part of a Teaching and Learning seminar on 18th March 2015.
I found this talk really helpful – Judith highlights some very interesting and important areas of employability and especially around the e-learning technology that can support our placements work. Her key messages are informative and easy to utilise in any role. She also presents some useful working models of embedding employability such as the CareerEDGE model of Graduate Employability and the HEA’s 4As structure. I would recommend this talk to anyone who is currently thinking through employability and the wider consequences of it.
