We Meat Once Again
So this past Friday my parents flew in to the UK to visit my sister and I over Easter break.
Needless to say I am now being spoiled rotten. My mom has not stopped cooking since she got here and my sister and I haven’t stopped eating. The deliciousness included Malaysian chicken curry and Bak Kut Teh (meat bone tea) which I may have mentioned in one of my previous posts. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures of them cause that food was DEVOURED in minutes that there really isn’t much left to photograph!
However I do have some pictures of the dinner I had today at Red’s True BBQ..
As the parents were paying treating, I thought we should try one of Nottingham’s newer restaurants. It was also pretty appropriate as the four of us are meat-arians.

A feast for us all! Two types of ribs, BBQ chicken and pulled pork with slaw with too many side dishes to remember!
I’d make a meat joke but I’ll probably butcher it..

I was definitely a big fan of the restaurant’s decor and vibe. I mean even the menus were shaped like Bibles!
Overall the food was good and the prices were pretty reasonable. Definitely student-friendly if you want to try a bit of everything. I liked almost everything we ordered, just wasn’t a fan of the mash potatoes and mac and cheese. However if you do decide to visit you should definitely give the ribs a try, they are absolutely delish! I will have to leave you for now as I have not packed for the trip I am taking with my family tomorrow. You will have to stay tuned and read the blog post next week to find out where I have gone off to!
Hope you all have a great Easter break ahead.
That looks really quite spectacular. From a “Judas ketchup” I hear and see for the first time .
