Recommit to your health
The Christmas break is now over and the New Year has begun. There is no better time to think about what you can do this year to improve your wellbeing and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The People and Culture team and the Department of Sport would like to invite you to start off your new year by recommitting to your physical and mental health. A great way to do this is through regular exercise and a healthy diet.
‘Recommit to your health’ is taking place on Thursday 11th January (5:15pm – 8pm) at David Ross Sports Village and is offered to you as part of the University’s Wellbeing programme. University staff will be able to try out a variety of different health and fitness taster sessions in an inclusive and supportive environment. You can also:
- Attend a nutrition talk while enjoying a health snack
- Discuss UoN Sport and Fitness Membership options
- Try a running session and join our free Couch to 5k course
- Complete your evening with a free massage
The event is free for all staff, no matter what level of fitness you have.
