Black History Month Celebrations in The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences are putting on a series of toe-tapping events to celebrate Black History Month 2016. Linda Allsop talks about what they have going on.
Last Tuesday, the sun shone in the B floor café as staff and students ate their lunch, to the fantastic sounds of the Steel Drum Band to celebrate Black History month. The café put on some Caribbean food to add spice to the lunchtime event.
Today we continue our celebrations with Salsa with Cleon from Crossbody Leads at 12pm in the Medical School Foyer.
On Thursday, Vina Ladwa will be teaching Kathak Dance Workshops from 11am.
Then finally, on Thursday 27th October, there will be a street dance demonstration and lesson from 12pm.
All are welcome, so come along and join the fun!
