Congratulations to our MedEd Scholars graduating this December 2021

Congratulations to all our graduating scholars – from the MedEd Faculty at Nottingham

It has been another difficult year for our Scholars, most of whom are also working as health care professionals in the NHS.

With “lockdown” through most of the first part of the year, we have been carrying out a lot of teaching online again, when we originally hoped thing would be back to “normal” in 2021.

At the same time, our scholars have been busy clinical and getting used to new ways of delivering patient care and teaching to our undergraduate colleagues (and postgrad trainees).

This is why we are especially proud of our cohort graduating this year.

At the exam board meeting in early November, our external examiner commended the quality of the work she had reviewed from our scholars and we noted that the improving marks year on year – despite Covid – have been due to the improvements put in place by the faculty – in partnership with our great student reps.

We hope that our Alumni stay in touch over the years. Some have already come back to teach (Rebecca & Nicola on faculty completed the Masters at Nottingham!) and we hope to hear about the development of our graduating scholars in future years.

Thanks for all your hard work and enthusiasm!
