Five reasons why Floor F in the new George Green Library is ‘postgrad heaven’
Yes, you read that right. The postgraduate study room on Floor F of the new George Green Library has recently been described by one student as ‘heaven’ for postgrads.
So, why is this new study area so good? Why should you study there?
1) It is swipe card access only
If you are a postgraduate or member of staff you can come in whenever you like (during opening hours). If you’re an undergrad… sorry (we do have plenty of other spaces you can study, though!)
2) You have your very own print, copy, scan zone
There’s no need to traipse around campus to find somewhere to print or copy (or indeed scan!)
3)You have some brilliant views across campus and Nottingham
You are on the top floor of the new library. The views look particularly great on a sunny day!
Disclaimer: the libraries are not responsible for any window gazing procrastination which may occur.
4) You can choose from a variety of study spaces
Want to use a computer? No problem! Brought your own laptop in? Go for it! Want to sit on a bean bag? Of course, we have that covered!
5) You are completely enclosed from the rest of the building
Background noise is minimal. Perfect for those days when you really need to concentrate!
Still not convinced? Go and try it out for yourself. Just head to Floor F in the new bit of the George Green Library.
Make sure you keep an eye on @UoNLibraries for all of the latest George Green updates.
