Our exhibition – update
Our exhibition, ‘Florence Nightingale Comes Home’, which was originally scheduled to open in the spring, finally opened on Thursday 29 October 2020 – only to have to re-close again on the 30th because of new Covid-19 restrictions.
In the first instance the closure lasts for 28 days. We are hoping to film a virtual guided tour and organise a couple of online events in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, you can see a taster of the materials on view at the Manuscripts and Special Collections website.
More information is available on the Lakeside Arts exhibitions page.
Was great to see the video of the guided tour of Florence Nightingale comes home. Looking forward to seeing it real time. However its a bit sad on the heels of closure of the Nightingale Museum in London.
Exhibition was good. Went on a Sat and parking was a nightmare. 40 mins (current time slots), is just enough time to get around it, if you read most of it. Its in the new building in the park, not the long building by the road. I would go again. At the moment its book on line before you go.
