Countdown to Christmas

From 1 December through to Christmas Day, our e-Advent calendar will be showcasing festive and wintry items from the University’s Manuscripts and Special Collections department. And with the help of our daily blog, we’ll be bringing the pieces to life with videos, podcasts, interactive presentations, digitised books and photographs.

Staff and students can get involved with our festive project by letting us know which books they want to find in their Christmas stocking this year. Whether fact or fiction, old or new, we want to hear about it for our blog. Simply email your full name and book choice to debs.storey@nottingham.ac.uk and remember to check back to see the recommendations.

So why not enter into the Christmas spirit early and join us for a festive countdown designed to intrigue and delight.

All of the items featured in our e-Advent calendar are from the University’s historic library holdings, held in Manuscripts and Special Collections.
