How we’re collecting your snow memories

Just a quick post, to share the below poster which I have created for display in the School of Geography at Nottingham, where Snow Scenes is based. In addition to introducing the project, the poster shows how we are collecting memories online (through this site and Twitter) and directly in Cumbrian communities, and also how we are collating these memories with archival and other media records.

You may notice on the poster, that we are holding a public event about the project, at the Tufton Arms in Appleby, on Thursday 12th December at 7pm. If you want to get involved with the project, learn more about our findings, and see lots of interesting images, like those featured below, please come along, and bring your friends and families!

If you want to learn anything more about the methods being used as part of Snow Scenes, as featured on the below image, please do get in touch with us.
