Don’t miss the Library Research Week Symposium

In this guest post, Sue Ackermann, Associate Director of Research and Learning Services shares the programme for the Library Research Week Symposium.

We’re looking forward to our first-ever Library Research Week Symposium, to be held on Wednesday 2 March at the Hemsley restaurant, University Park.

We have an excellent line up of speakers, including Professor Dame Jessica Corner DBE, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research and Knowledge Exchange, and representatives from HEFCE, Research Councils UK and the EPSRC. While the exact details of the presentations are still to be finalised, our speakers will be able to provide information on topics including the next REF, Research Data Management and the recent Nurse review of research councils. We will also be offering attendees the opportunity to stay for lunch after the event.

I’m hoping for a very stimulating session, so please do come along and make the most of this opportunity. For more information, take a look at the programme below.
