21-27 June: The big stories

The big news from The University of Nottingham this week is the Olympic Torch relay passing through our Jubilee Campus on Friday 29 June. And the University’s involvement in the relay doesn’t end there as four of the region’s torch-bearers are from the University. There’s also research news from the School of Psychology designed to help Asian students to understand regional accents. And there’s been an Oscar-winner in the house with leading Hollywood sound designer Randy Thom taking part in a series of events this week.
