Planning for the Virtual Exchange: Story-boarding and something in common with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck

The plans for the RLO workshop are taking shape.  At the recent Skype planning activity the team identified the importance of making the day both fun and productive for staff and students.    The Health and e-Learning Media Team have recommended that we use a storyboard approach to capture ideas about creating a Reusable Learning Object from the NMC Code .  Storyboards are a really good way to engage in some really “off the cuff” thinking about a serious subject from an alternative perspective.   The characters and surrounding scenery in cartoon animations commence life as a series of storyboards.  It’s great to think we have something in common with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.   Our visitors from BCU will also have the opportunity to explore the campus, the lakeside and the park areas.
