Palgrave Macmillan: Free access through March

Throughout March 2014, Palgrave Macmillan is offering free access to its journals. This is a great opportunity to catch up with articles that you may not normally have access to.

In my area, for example, I publish in the Journal of the Operational Research Society (JORS) and I don’t think we have an institutional subscription to that journal.

So, browse their list of journals and see if you are any useful papers that you should read. There are various ways to access their journals:

• Journals A-Z
• Journals by subject

  We do actually have access to JORS, but via ABi/ inform (ProQuest) platform. The institutional access cover from year 1990, volume 50, issue 1 till most recent 1 year embargo access was set.

  You can always check for journal coverage for institutional access at http://sfx.nottingham.edu.my/sfx_local/az/default

  Ahh – okay thanks. I might be using “old experience”/ I actually get access anyway, as I am a member of the OR Society – but good to know. Thx again.
