eMyRA visit by Dr Khua Kia Kien

We recently (13th Dec 2013) invited Dr Khua Kia Kien to visit us to talk to us about the new eMYRA system. Dr Khua works at USM, and was one of the key developers of the system. Dr Khua met with the Research Support Office, as well as some key academic staff.

eMyRA started as a USM in-house system, but they were asked to develop it to be used by everybody who was completing a MyRA return.

The visit by Dr Khua was important to us as it enabled us to talk to somebody who really knows the eMyRA system, as well as MyRA more generally.

The new system enables us, for the first time, to perform a what-if analysis, with a level of confidence that we have not had before.

We would like to extend our thanks to Dr Khua as the visit was extremely useful and informative for us.

We have already started preparing for the 2013 return, with a lot of the work planned for between 7th Jan 2014 and 15th Feb 2014, so stand by your email!
