It’s time to rock the summer internship
It is now time for summer break! Some might go for holidays but some may take this opportunity to explore the working world. The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) Summer Internship was initiated to open doors for students to gain the first-hand working experience as an exposure before graduating soon.
On 6 June 2016, UNMC Summer Internship briefing took place at HB14, from 10 am until 12 pm. The session started with a welcoming short speech by the Head of Careers Advisory Service (CAS), Ms Alicia Ch’ng. It was then proceeded by the project manager of this 3-month programme, Ms Lai Chien Li who briefed on the details of the programme and also motivated the interns who seemed nervous on their first day of working.
Under this initiative, CAS has about 8 interns who are placed under CAS itself, Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), and Sports Complex, however, CAS also welcome 5 other interns from Faculty of Engineering to join this programme as well.
To all UNMC interns, we wish you all the best and show us what you got. It is time for you to shine!
