Migration of recordings to Engage

Thank you for your support and use of Engage, our new ‘Active Learning Platform’. We know that it has been challenging moving to Engage at the start of term, but we are pleased to report that there have been over 16,000 recordings since September 23rd, and 235,000 hours of viewings and downloads.

Now that Engage is live, Information Services will soon decommission the old service. This is the final call for requests to migrate recordings from the old system to the new.

What recordings have been migrated?   All course recordings from the last three academic years, 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18 have been migrated into the new system.

How do I request additional migrations?   You can request this using the form below – deadline: 28 February 2019.

Apply for additional migrations here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/UoNCaptureMigrations

What recordings can you request?   You can request any of the following types of recordings:

  1. special events, perpetual, personal and course recordings made before August 2015.
  2. special events, perpetual and personal recordings made in the academic years 2015/16, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
