This has been a really good PGCEi Induction meeting! We have enjoyed lively discussions and debates in the whole group; really useful small group work and poster work; and small-group presentations to close the week’s work. The cohort have worked very actively together, made new contacts shared some of their very diverse and rich experiences as educators in  different working contexts. The group is a great resource for the cohort to draw upon. The graphics mural has grown over the four days and offers a great way of capturing key messages that the group have identified as significant to them. Well done to Jackie for doing such a good job of collating these ideas in such a stimulating and memorable way.

Our last session was a private session for the students who were addressed by a course alumnus and who answered everyone’s questions.

Finally we gave the participants their attendance certificates and said our good-byes. Everyone seems to have a had a really good time – hard work but fun and interesting, for all of us, I hope. Now the rest of the online course awaits the group and the tutors can look forward to receiving the first pieces of Process Work!
