End of Summer School: The Three Ecologies

The Centre for Critical Theory is running a three day ‘End of Summer School’ in conjunction with Nottingham Contemporary, at the gallery on the 14th, 15th, and 16th of September, in the late afternoons and evenings.

The workshops and seminars scheduled for the event will look at the theories and struggles at the juncture of mental health, social justice and the ‘natural’ world.  The three days of events will be informed by Félix Guattari’s notion of the Three Ecologies, and by contemporary theories of de-colonisation and intersectionality. The school picks up more broadly on themes in the Public Programme to date and invites a cross-section of people from Nottingham and beyond to plot connections between these fields now and in the future, from academic and every-day approaches to research.

All activities during the summer school are completely free to be attend, and participants are welcome to attend as much or as little of the event as desired, but booking is requested. For further details, follow the link below:
