Writing Around Contemporary Art: 6th November

As many of you will know, several of us involved in the Centre for Critical Theory have a keen interest in art practice and art theory as well as the links between aesthetics and politics.

We’re happy therefore to announce that on Thursday the 6th of November at 7:30, the well-known artist, TV art critic and writer Matthew Collings will  join fellow artist Emma Biggs in conversation at the Djanogly Theatre, Lakeside Arts. Paul Gladston will be chairing a discussion of the diverse forms of writing connected to art, from catalogues to press releases, from gallery captions to art theory. It’s completely free and all are welcome, but please do ring 0115 446  7777.

We hope to see you there.
