I’m a PhD Candidate from the School of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Nottingham. I hold a BA in Sociology from the University of Chile (2007) and a MA in Sociology from the University of Warwick (2010). Before I started my PhD, I worked as a researcher for the United Nations Development Program in Chile, where I was involved in the production of the Chilean Human Development Reports (2007-2009/2010-2013). I also worked as a lecturer on research methods in several universities in Chile. My areas of interest include: the sociology of respect, social inequalities, moral sociology, subjective well-being, the capabilities’s approach and mixed methods research.
