Remember the three Ps – Emma’s tips for Clearing and Adjustment

If you’re feeling nervous about your results, I’d suggest making a plan for every situation, no matter how unlikely they seem.

If you don’t quite get what you needed, or if you surprise yourself, there are endless possibilities and routes for you to take. Always take note of the courses and universities you are interested in – and what grades they require – and jot down their phone numbers.

You may hit the jackpot and be able to apply to something you’ve only dreamed of!

But, if you don’t quite get the grades you needed, it isn’t the end of the world. I’m a great believer that everything happens for a reason, and Clearing and Adjustment is an opportunity for you to take advantage of, once you’ve got your results.

So don’t panic!

If you change your mind, no one is going to be angry or upset, just call the university you want to go to instead, and then let the other university know.

Remember the three Ps:

  • PLAN for all outcomes
  • PICK where you want to go and what you want to do and, most of all, enjoy the
  • POSSIBILITY that Clearing and Adjustment offers

Whether you upgrade, change your mind or just haven’t quite got what you needed… good luck!
